The Vidpro Top Handle is solid aluminum and features an ergonomic design. It secures into the camera shoe mount facing forward or backward, and offers multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting holes and a shoe mount on the end for attaching accessories. It also features a built-in bubble level on top to help with maintaining stability. This Top Handle can be mounted on any camera with a shoe mount but is most ideal for small to mid-size cameras, such as DSLRs.

Manufacture quality is top notch, though the plastic thumb lock should not be plastic. Silly bit of a cheat there. Still, I like the grip and just for holding the camera and moving around and flipping to portrait, this is an slick tool/accessory to add to your kit. No, I don't/won't leave it in place by any means but I am very glad to have it and have used it more than I would have imagined. Very lightweight too.
