The Xperia Ear from Sony is a Bluetooth earbud designed to save you from constantly looking at the screen of your Android device, by listening to your voice commands and prompting you with information spoken into your ear.
Once paired to your Android phone using the free Xperia Ear app (available separately), the Xperia Ear supports a variety of voice commands, such as dictated messages, web searches, and weather info. You can also get directions, check your schedule, and more. Equipped with a proximity sensor, the earbud knows when it is placed in your ear and automatically provides you with updates, which you can customize to suit your particular needs.
You can use head gestures to discretely communicate your intentions to the Xperia Ear by just nodding or shaking your head, to give positive or negative feedback. The unit comes with a portable charging case, which itself can be charged from a power outlet or a computer. On a full charge, the case can charge the earbud up to three times when on the go.
Lightweight at 0.23 oz, the Xperia Ear features a sleek, graphite-black finish and eartips designed to ensure a comfortable and secure fit, so you can wear it all day, in style.
