  • 1Description

Boost your office's productivity with the fast printing, scanning, copying, and faxing features of the OfficeJet Pro 6968 All-in-One Inkjet Printer from HP. This Instant Ink Ready printer boasts ISO print speeds of up to 18 ppm in black and 10 ppm in color, as well as a resolution of 600 x 1200 dpi for sharp documents and photos. A draft mode is available as well, boosting speeds to 30 ppm in black and 26 ppm in color. Also, users will be able to use automatic duplexing for printing and copying thanks to the implementation of a 35-sheet automatic document feeder, which can handle paper up to 8.5 x 14". In addition to an ADF, users will have access to an 8.5 x 11.7" flatbed for more delicate or odd-sized media.

General paper handling is provided by a 225-sheet input tray, which will work with most paper types. A 2.65" CGD touchscreen provides an intuitive method for viewing status and changing settings. Along with all of these basic features, the 6968 features built-in Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity for both wireless and wired networking options. Additionally, this printer will last a long time with its rated monthly duty cycle of 20,000 pages.

HP Instant Ink Program
This printer is eligible for HP's Instant Ink Program which, for a small monthly fee, allows users to automatically have their printer notify HP when it is running low on ink in order to have a fresh cartridge shipped to your door. HP T0F28A#B1H reviews

OfficeJet Pro 6968 All-in-One Inkjet Printer is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 173.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not recommended I don't recommend this printer. I bought it as a replacement for a 6600, which I had for years and loved. The actual printing part was okay to set up, but the paper output tray is too short and paper doesn't lay flat when it comes out. Take a closer look at the picture and you'll notice the output tray is not extended. I also have a home office which requires faxing of sensitive documents. SO HARD to set up the fax speed dials. So hard to figure out where to find all the information as there is not one "landing place," everything is all over the internet...if it weren't for google I wouldn't have figured it out at all.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from does not connect wirelessly First day I popped in the CD and it took me 3 hours to connect my laptop to the printer and I was finally able to print. when I tried printing another form, it said the printer was offline but was clearly connected to wifi. Three days later I tried scanning a form to my laptop but was not able to connect to the printer so I had no luck there. Maybe its just this printer doing this but whenever I try to scan or print the printer doesn't seem to want to connect to my laptop. :(

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent value Ordered on 1 May. Shipped on 2 May. Delivered 3 May. Using with Mac iPad and iPhone. Using the online print setup, took just minutes. I have a HP LaserJet Pro 400-415dn but wanted full-service and to spend less money on drafts. Printer and fax work great. Use WiFi connect only. Only issues: The ink jet cartridges are difficult to open - the only guide as to what to take off and how to install is like a set of cartoon drawings, AND I sure wish there was an illustration showing there the devil the POWER BUTTON is. When setting up, you can't see the power icon because it is on a rectangle that is also lit up. No problem after setting up. The paper tray is pretty flimsy and there is no stop or guide to hold, say, 11" paper at the 11" mark. So far, no slippage or skipped pages. And you have to go online to download a manual - none included.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Avoid This printer never really worked. Copies came out with broad striping bands even after changing the ink, re- starting, and re-calibrating. Finally died after not much use. HP was great about sending out a replacement copier but it never actually started or printed anything. Sent it back and I'm here shopping for something new with a voucher they gave me. Not super hopeful as this seems to be one of the higher rated printers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from HP Officejet Pro 6968 I was looking to replace my HP inkjet 4500 that I bought in Nov 2010. Looking at all-in-one printers became a daunting task. It seems that no matter which model or maker, when it came to the reviews, they ran the gambit on the 1 to 5 scale. So I went to Office Depot and asked a lot of questions and demonstrations. I decided ( for no particular reason) the HP Officejet Pro 6968. I found that after I read "ALL" the printed material and paid attention to all the "ifs, ands and buts", I found it straight forward. Just do exactly what it says and take your time. I read that if I didn't want the wireless feature (which I didn't) that it was not necessary to load the disk. I also didn't select the auto ink supply. You have to watch what you are selecting and not. Alignment page went perfect, then scanned it for best alignment and the page printed perfect. I then went on line and printed one of my retirement statements. note! It wouldn't print because it was not recognizing the new printer. I went into devices and selected my new printer as primary and deleted the printer that I had just removed from service, tried again and my document was printed with no further issues. So far seems to work perfect. Time will tell!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't get this for double-sided card printing This printer does not print evenly on the page when using double-sided printing. I am trying to print color cards that have images on both sides. I can't find the answer online as to how to get both sides to print evenly with each other. One side prints with the correct margins and then the other side prints with a huge margin on the top and a tiny one at the bottom!!! Incredibly frustrating! also even if I choose borderless printing, it continues to print a border! Argh! I want to exchange this printer for a new one.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very frustrating and time consuming I agree with the comments about difficulty connecting to a Mac Desktop and Mac laptop. We had to hard wire the printer and turn off wi-fi in order for it to print without re-booting the computer each time. Once we fixed that, then it started to not print in color but when you try to clean the printheads, you get error messages telling you to check out the hp website which doesn't help with the issue. I learned from other comments that I have to unplug the power cord and re-plug it to get it to work. When it does work, it works great. It seems to be a 50-50 chance that you get one of the machines that works reliably. I didn't get one of those unfortunately.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is one of the best printers I ever had I love using my printer--it was super easy to instal--it faxs , scans, prints and copies wonderfully. The price was super great, and the tech support follow-up is great too. I had some minor questions with installations and the 800 number support line, were excellent with their support.
