The L-shape of the plate also benefits shooting in vertical orientation with panorama nodal slides, for maintaining a consistent nodal point, and shooting in horizontal orientation with side-mount gimbal heads. Two push-button QD sockets are available as well, allowing the direct use of compatible Quick Disconnect straps.
