Dedicated to the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX1R II camera, the BRX1R II Set L-Plate and Grip from Really Right Stuff pairs the fitted BRX1R II-L Set L-plate with the custom BRX1-G Grip Component to afford a versatile mounting platform along with a more robust right-handed grip for improved handling and shooting stability. The L-plate is an Arca-type compatible plate that facilitates easier, more stable switching between horizontal and vertical shooting orientations when working atop a tripod. The L-shape of the plate also benefits shooting in vertical orientation with panorama nodal slides, for maintaining a consistent nodal point, and shooting in horizontal orientation with side-mount gimbal heads.
This set features a modular three-piece design that includes both the dedicated base plate and an L-component, which combine to form a dedicated L-plate, along with the grip component. This versatile configuration offers the same mounting support as a one-piece L-plate, with the added ability to remove the L-component for a slimmer overall profile when needed. The custom-fit design also maintains full access to the battery door and incorporates a mounting point for attaching the BRX1-G Grip Component. Additionally, the CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminum construction is finished with a Type II black anodizing, a 1/4"-20 threaded mounting socket is featured on the base, and laser-engraved center marks are placed on both axes for easy alignment.
