Dedicated to the Nikon D500 DSLRs, the BD500 Base Plate from Really Right Stuff is an Arca-type compatible plate that facilitates easier, more stable mounting of your camera atop a tripod. This plate features a modular design that allows it to accept an optional L-component, which combine to form a dedicated L-plate. The custom-fit design also maintains full access to the battery door and features a Quick Detach (QD) mounting point for attaching a strap, a boss for an accessory hand strap, and magnetic storage for the hex key. Additionally, the CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminum construction is finished with a Type II black anodizing, a 1/4"-20 threaded mounting socket is featured on the base, and a laser-engraved center mark is placed on the rear of the plate for easy alignment.
