Dedicated to the Sony Alpha a7 II, a7R II, and a7S II, the BA7R2 Base Plate from Really Right Stuff is an Arca-type compatible plate that facilitates easier, more stable mounting of your camera atop a tripod. It's design also moves the battery door to the plate, ensuring easy access to the battery at all times. A gasket seals the battery compartment opening for protection.
This plate set features a modular design that allows it to accept an optional L-component, which combine to form a dedicated L-plate. The custom-fit design also maintains full access to the battery door. Additionally, the CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminum construction is finished with a Type II black anodizing, a 1/4"-20 threaded mounting socket is featured on the base, and a laser-engraved center mark is placed on the rear of the plate.
