The Bi-Directional Plate from Really Right Stuff is designed to mount to the bottom of a small camera or scope. As a result, the plate adds quick release functionality to whatever is being used.
The Arca-type compatible dovetail design is compatible with Really Right Stuff's clamps and ball heads as well as many other Arca-type clamps. The plate's square dovetail design allows your camera to mount in any direction. The CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminum plate has an anodized type II black finish. The plate mounts via a 1/4"-20 mounting screw, and the cork pad prevents the camera or scope from twisting while mounted.
