The A.Lyra Digital Lavalier Microphone for Apple iPhone from Aputure is a broadcast-quality, omnidirectional digital microphone combined with a digital audio converter for capturing audio. It can be used to turn your phone, tablet, or computer into a mobile professional recording suite while providing a reliable human voice recording solution.

It features 24-bit/96 kHz recording and is equipped with a Lightning jack, a USB-C interface, and a 1/8" mini-jack connector for real-time monitoring with app support. This lavalier is built with aircraft-grade aluminum and brass and is designed for long-term use. A hard case for storage, a silicon sleeve, a fuzzy windshield, and a foam windscreen are also included.

    Rated 2 out of 5 by from It's OK, fails w/iPhone X, not USB-C audio, no monitoring No iOS 10.2 is out and it still out of order on X => Basically its not as described due to X is a Lightning port iOS device. Works with my older 7Plus. Does not work with USB-C MacBook => Not USB-C Audio Device. All the "Monitoring" is just a pass through from the phone: No way to hear what's going on on the Mic, it's just bypassing the phone like regular headphones. I would like to see ability to hear the output of the mic while just powered with any USB-C, but NO. Volume buttons controls iPhone System Volume and NOT the Mic level. Sound quality is good, but no hardware white noise filter to filter out background static. Overall device is questionable or bogus.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does not work with iPhoneX iOS 11.1.2 Works with my 7Plus (no warnings, just works) but not X (no reaction at all). My guess that Apple as usual missed something in early firmware, expect fix in 11.2. Tested with iOS 11.1.2 on both.
