Can you use this with a mix of wireless bands? ...

Can you use this with a mix of wireless bands? For example I have 3x H19 (542-572MHz) and 1x G5 (494-518MHz)
Asked by: Darren
In theory yes! The key is to use antennas that cover that range of receivers. Best case would be two antennas that cover the entire range from 494 to 572. mHz. If that is not possible the next best thing would be to use one antenna from each band. Not perfect but should work for you if you are only using a couple (or half a dozen) systems in a low traffic area. Trying it in Times Square might not give tou the results you are hoping for ... Good luck!

Can I use this Distribution System for my Shure in-ear units? Or is there a system better suited for in-ears?
Asked by: Jacob
For IEM systems you would want to use an antenna combiner, such as BH # SHPA421B (Depending on the model and frequency block of your transmitters).

Do I need to purchase the UA8 antennas as well or does it come with some?
Asked by: David
The Shure UA844+SWB/LC Wideband Antenna Distribution System does not come with any external antennas. The "/LC" in the model name stands for "less cables" and indicates that the package includes the distribution system unit but not the external BNC antenna cables or the antennas. So, the antennas and BNC connector cables, as well as mounting stands or brackets, should be purchased separately.

Can this be used with the glxd receiver??

Can this be used with the glxd receiver??
Asked by: Destiny
This UHF antenna distributor does not work with the Shure GLXD wireless systems, which operate in the 2.4 GHz digital frequency range. The Shure UA846Z2/LC GLXiD Frequency Manager, Less Antenna Cables, BH #SHUA846Z2LC would be the proper antenna distributor for a GLXD digital wireless system. An appropriate antenna would be the Shure PA805Z2-RSMA Passive Directional Antennam, BH #SHPA805Z2SMA.
