Higher performance, longer flight time, better manufacturing

Propellers and mounts have always been the Achilles heel of the DJI products. The high altitude props are a bit different. Here's a quick summary. The good: 1. These propellers are manufactured to higher standard then standard propellers, the surface regularity and molding leftovers are the minimum. Also the propellers have thicker cord, which corresponds to additional stiffness. Weight difference is negligible vs standard. 2. They include rubber dumpers inside the propeller mount, it assures tighter fit even with the semi-defective quick release mounts. 3. Operated at the normal altitude, with current firmware, expect about 10 to 15% increase of the flight time. 4. Pleasant surprise higher climb rate, but expect no increase in level flight speed, at least noticeable. The bad: 1. Regardless of having a better mold, propellers still require after work. Besides removing the mold left overs, additional polishing is necessary to remove surface deviations. This work requires blade balancing upon completion. Overall: The benefits clearly overweight the negative. Even without any additional work propellers proven to be substantial improvements over standard even in everyday use. It may change with the firmware update, since that might be occurring not only due to the higher angles of attack but also overall quality and clearly benefits from the current power management algorithm. After all, the design was for operation at the higher density altitude. I may add that our propellers on the UAV besides being polished and balanced, have 10 coats of ceramic aviation compound which gives better aerodynamic performance. It is similar to high end polish wax used on the cars, and provide mirror like surface. (may add the picture later, if it will be possible)

Another great tool from DJI's best drone yet. I hope to use the new props for work I get in the Rockies.

I need two pair for inspire 1 v1. Will I get the propellers with the correct polarity, for a lack of better terms?
Asked by: David
These propellers are only designed for the Inspire V2 and will not fit the Inspire V1. The kit includes one clockwise propeller and one counterclockwise propeller. To replace all the propellers you will need two sets.

question

I just bought set, but there are only two. Do i need to buy another set? or do you mix them with the regular propellers?
Asked by: John B.
Hey John. You will need two sets to have a total of 4 High-Altitude propellers. It is not recommended to mix propeller types. Thanks.
