Klipsch RSB-14 overview

  • 1Description

Enjoy room-filling sound with the Klipsch Stream Reference RSB-14 135W 2.1-Channel Wireless Soundbar System in black. This speaker system consists of a soundbar, subwoofer, and wireless remote. It connects to home theater systems via HDMI and optical inputs, and to mobile devices via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and 3.5mm aux. Inside the soundbar, a pair of 0.75" tweeters with 90° x 90° Tractrix horns join four 2.75" woofers, while the wireless subwoofer's 8" side-firing cone fills your room with bass.

The speaker can be controlled via the included remote or with universal remotes, and can be incorporated into a Klipsch Stream or DTS Play-Fi system for multi-room audio. Dolby Digital decoding helps reproduce lifelike sound while Virtual Surround Mode creates a 3D effect. The soundbar's feet can be detached, and the included mounting template makes it easy to place the soundbar where you want.

    Klipsch RSB-14 reviews

Stream Reference RSB-14 135W 2.1-Channel Wireless Soundbar System (Black) is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is how a TV should sound! Problem: I have a flat screen TV with subpar sound, but I don't want to buy a huge sound system and amplifier, run wires, etc. Solution: Klipsch RSB-14 The bar is about the same width as my 55 screen so it fits in. Easy to install - just plug it in, connect to tv, turn off built in speakers in TV, and program sound bar to accept volume commands from my remote. The sub is wireless and fills in nicely. My TV didn't have HDMI-ARC so i used optical connection. The whole thing took less than 30 minutes. Rock n Roll!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dysfunctional - with Abysmal Tech Support I'm a long-time Klipsch user. But no more. I purchased this at the end of January. Operation, when it worked with DirecTV and my Roku, was impressive. When connected to the XBox One S, however, it performed poorly. The screen would display for a second and then snow - just like in the old days of OTH broadcasts - would appear (see photo). I contacted tech support twice. They answered the first one, recommending I try other inputs and upgrade my HDMI cables, even though the ones I was used were HDCP 2.2 compliant. This fixed worked, albeit temporarily. I contacted tech support again - a week ago - and I'm still awaiting a response. Apparently their tech support model is to ignore an issue until it eventually goes away. Well, I'm going away as I'm returning the sound bar and will never own a Klipsch product again. I've replaced it with a Sony HT-NT5 which, by the way, works flawlessly with the XBox. I recommend you avoid this one.
