Equipped with a 2.8 GHz Intel Core i7-7700HQ Quad-Core processor, 16GB of DDR4 RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050Ti graphics card with 4GB of GDDR5 VRAM, the ROG GL753VE can tackle everything from everyday tasks to gaming with demanding visuals. To further increase this system's performance, you can install an additional 16GB RAM module into the empty slot for a max capacity of 32GB.

For storing your photos, videos, games, and more, the ROG GL753VE has a 256GB solid-state drive and a 1TB hard drive. The SD card reader is convenient for transferring files between mobile devices, and there are plenty of connectivity options including USB 3.0, USB 2.0, and USB Type-C. Other integrated features include 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, a webcam, HDMI and Mini DisplayPort outputs, and audio in/out jacks. The installed operating system is Windows 10 (64-Bit).

NVIDIA GeForce 10-Series Graphics Card
NVIDIA's GeForce GTX 10-series graphics cards can deliver up to a 40% increase in performance over the previous generation. Not only are they powerful, they can deliver similar performance to their desktop counterparts with a slight performance difference. This changes mobile gaming, allowing you to max out your game's visuals settings so you can enjoy it at its best.
DDR4 memory runs at higher speeds to delivers faster performance compared to its predecessor DDR3. With it, your system will achieve better performance overall.
RGB Aura Keyboard
The Strix GL753VE is equipped with customizable 4-zone lighting so you can adjust it as you see fit. Furthermore, it also features 30-key rollover, which ensures that all your keystrokes are registered no matter how complicated.
ROG Gaming Center
ROG Gaming Center gives you access to multiple features such as system information, macros, audio settings, and more.

Windows 10

Start Menu
After its hiatus in Windows 8, the Start Menu has returned. Utilizing a combination of the traditional menu system and Windows 8's Live Tiles, the improved Start Menu gives you more information at a glance, showing notification information alongside your applications and other pinned items.
Microsoft's digital personal assistant, Cortana, can answer your questions with information gleaned from both your device and the Internet at large. You can type or even talk with her, if your system has a microphone. Using her Laptop, Cortana keeps track of your needs and wants, and she learns over time to improve her information-gathering skills.
Microsoft Edge
After nearly 20 years, Microsoft has finally replaced its Internet Explorer web browser. With Microsoft Edge, users can write directly on web pages and share notes with friends and colleagues. It also improves the online reading experience by adding a distraction-free mode and read-it-later functionality. Edge also has built-in Cortana integration; you can have her help you find a restaurant, make a reservation, and pull up directions without leaving your browser.
Windows Store
For Windows 10, Microsoft has unified the Windows Store. Now, apps for PCs, tablets, and phones will all be accessible from one place. And with support for Universal Apps, one version of an app can work across all your compatible devices automatically.
Windows Continuum
Windows 10 was designed for a variety of screen sizes and input styles, and with its Continuum feature, it automatically adapts to fit your needs. A Windows 10 tablet on its own requires a touch-centric approach, but attaching a mouse and keyboard will shift everything to a more traditional interface. You can even attach an external monitor to your Windows 10 phone for a near-desktop experience. But it's not just the operating system; Windows Universal Apps take advantage of Continuum as well.
Xbox on Windows 10
Gaming is a big focus of Windows 10. Xbox integration allows for PC players to match up against Xbox One players on supported games, and if you have an Xbox One, you can even stream compatible titles to your PC. Native support for recording with the new Game DVR feature makes it easy to capture and share your gameplay. The new DirectX12 takes better advantage of multi-core processors, giving games a performance boost, even on older hardware. Windows 10 also features native support for virtual reality headsets, such as the Oculus Rift.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best Value/Price Notebook you can get! It is very simple - Get this Notebook! The notebook is futuristic in every aspect. Top human engineering that keeps you on and on working/playing for hours without feeling fatigue. It has all the input cables options that you can think of, and the screen - based on Nvidia GEFORCE is top of the line art. i was surprised to see that it includes great sound sys. It has the most advanced Core i7 - 7th generation processor, and that is a long life working station guarantee for me. The most important thing - SSD disk that boost the Notebook performance sky-high.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I LOVE THIS LAPTOP Wow, I love this laptop. I purchased the 17 in version, i.e. GL753ve 16tb version. Disclosure: I am not a gamer. I need a laptop on steroids for editing video and photographs to replace an Asus which died on me prior to 3 yrs use . This Asus laptop runs cool and quiet. Be sure it is placed on a flat surface so vents can work. The screen display is beautiful. I did, however, correct brightness with my Spyder 4 Pro which is what all serious photography editors do for printing color accuracy purposes. Problems and corrections: After a few days use, the right-click on the touch pad did not work. I called Asus technical support who said it was a hardware problem and to send laptop back. Not satisfied, I researched on the internet and found that this was a known problem with Win10 and some Asus laptops and the simple fix was to update a Windows driver and then do a hard (cold) reboot (use boot-up button) and problem solved permanently. Why didn't Asus tech support know this? Second minor problem: I receive a message from Nvidia that an update to the graphics card was available. I downloaded and installed it and then noticed on Device Manager a yellow caution sign that card now not working. So, I did a simple roll-back to prior driver and everything working great again. A great thing Asus did was ship this 32gb-RAM max available with one stick of 16gb RAM leaving the second slot open meaning you can update to 32gb RAM without having to discard old RAM (say 8x2). So, I ordered a stick of 16gb RAM and installed it with no trouble. If you do this, ensure that you go to SYSTEM on start-up menu to see if your laptop recognizes the new 32gb RAM. If not, then you did not install it correctly. Be sure you download the pdf users manual found on the B&H product page for this laptop for help. Bottom line, this quiet, yes, quiet......laptop is performing superbly. Let me know if you need any help and I'll direct you to the Windows driver to fix from the Win10 start button.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Knowing the hardware is a big deal when getting a laptop. If you already know what this can and can't do, you will love it. No issues, zero freezes 3 months in. It plays as expected, I can handle Shadow of Mordor on Ultra and Pubg with no fps drop not felt server side. Sleek, well priced, and perfect for travel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very happy, great laptop This is a great laptop. I'm very happy with the performance and it feels well built. I would definitely recommend it to someone else. My old laptop was decent but I can definitely tell the performance difference moving up to the GL753VE. Like everyone's laptops, it has some bloatware added by ASUS but I was able to easily uninstall all of the things that I didn't want. On the bright side, with the SSD uninstalls are very fast too! Everything installed very fast too except for Microsoft Office. It still took forever. Go figure! And before the flames start, I don't want or like Office but I have to have it. Work provides me the money so I can play :-) My only issue was that the hard drive was a little small for my needs but it was very easy to open and swap out hard drives. While inside, I was also glad to see that it contains a single 16 GB memory card instead of two 8 GB cards so if I do decide to upgrade the RAM, I only need to buy one 16 GB card without throwing out the old RAM.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Choice The only thing that i dont like is the Battery because does not last long more than 4 hours. The keyboard is just red. The colors that u see in the pictures just shows up when you turn on the computer. Is fast, im not a gammer but im designer and it works good.
