The Pentium G4560 3.5 GHz Dual-Core LGA 1151 Processor from Intel has a base clock speed of 3.5 GHz and comes with features such as Intel Hyper-Threading technology. This processor features 2 cores with 4 threads in an LGA 1151 socket and has 3MB of cache memory. Having 2 cores allows the processor to run multiple programs simultaneously without slowing down the system, while the 4 threads allow a basic ordered sequence of instructions to be passed through or processed by a single CPU core. This processor also supports up to 64GB of DDR4-2400/2133 and DDR3L 1600/1333 RAM at 1.35V, has AES New Instructions, 14nm lithography, and utilizes 7th Generation (Kaby Lake) technology.

Graphically, the Pentium G4560 3.5 GHz Dual-Core LGA 1151 Processor uses integrated Intel HD Graphics 610. Included is a CPU cooler and protection is provided by a limited 3-year warranty.

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect for general stuff and 1-/2-thread gaming I've used it for gaming and general use. I'm pairing it with a GTX 1060 6GB, which is just about as good of a GPU as you can go without throttling becoming an issue (unless the game actually utilizes multiple threads, I'd imagine). And then it's excellent for everything else I do. I wouldn't suggest this if you do perform CPU-centric work, obviously. It's otherwise the best value of the Kaby Lake CPUs, though I'm sure you've heard that by now. I give it only four stars because the stock cooler is pretty noisy with an especially unappealing buzzy quality to it. I'll definitely get an aftermarket cooler soon, but having to spend the extra money is an inconvenience.

I just completed a gaming uATX budget build for my shorty and am using an Intel Pentium g4560 3.50 GHz Dual-Core processor. I built it for under $450 and this G4560 was one of the cheapest things in the case. The g4560 doesn't make a fast computer (average speed) but it is enough to allow a gtx 1050 O.C. to kick in and run the show. I am very impressed with this CPU's capabilities it is no slouch for under $100, go Pentium! Also kudos to B&H, I had never used them before and they gave me the best deal on the internet with this CPU also with a great shipping time. Thank you B&H.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Budget Processor for Gaming This processor is now being used in an amazing budget gaming PC with this little beast making it all possible. The gaming performance of this Pentium is on par with its Kaby Lake i3s and even close to some older i5s. There is almost no cons to consider other than it is only a dual core. Yet with its new refresh of Kaby Lake and hyperthreading enabling 4 threads makes it an amazing, unique value. No processor on the market can compare to the power per dollar as the G4560. This will last for years if paired with a good graphics cards such as a 470, 480, or 1060. Especially with the newest Intel Socket and lineup of processors, there is incredible room for upgrading if you are planning to invest more in a few years. Best deal for any PC builder on a budget today hands down!

I recently decided to go into PC gaming and instead of buying a $900 prebuilt and getting great performance I wanted to test myself and build my own PC for as cheap as I possibly could just to see how much better the cheapest PC I can build is better than the console gaming I am used to. I had a bunch of parts but the main two parts were this pentium G4560 and a GTX 1050 ti and all I can say is that it blows my PS4 and xbox one out of the water. I can truly say that the G4560 is the budget king when it comes to gaming CPUs. The main game I play on PC is Battlefield 1 and this gets me Console performance (Frames-wise) on much better detail settings than what is ran on consoles. Games like Fallout 4, Dying light, Titanfall 2, Far Cry 4 & Primal run amazingly smooth on this chip. The thing that makes it a steal isn't even the performance. It's the fact that you have an awesome upgrade path to other Intel chips like i3s, i5s, i7s. I even do some photo editing for school on this PC and Photoshop and lightroom run quick and snappy. If you're wondering whether you should get this CPU, do yourself a favor and get it.

It is a good choice for an entry-level gaming build, considering it can run many intensive, high-end, AAA games with ease. (In tandem with a GTX Geforce 1050 Ti GPU) For those who are trying to build a high-quality PC without breaking bank, this is definitely a good CPU choice. I personally use it as a work computer, along with some gaming, and it works wonderfully. Everything is smooth, it has no trouble with any programs, and it just makes my PC run faster. 5/5 without question!

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Current Budget Gaming Processor This is basically unbeatable for a budget 1080p gaming computer. If you are going to spend less than $400 for a gaming computer then this is the only cpu you should be considering. Low power consumption along with hyper threading makes this a 1080p champ. Pair this up with a 1050ti or an rx 470 and you will be in budget gaming bliss. It is not overclockable but the performance is still more than adequate! Make sure your motherboard can handle this kaby lake processor as it is fairly new. Any b250 or z270 board will work. older boards may need a bios update before it will post.
