NVIDIA SHIELD TV Overview

Stream all of your favorite media and play computer games with the NVIDIA SHIELD TV Streaming Media Player. It supports playback at up to UHD 4K resolution with HDR for an enhanced viewing experience. The SHIELD TV features 3GB of RAM with 16GB of storage, which is expandable using compatible USB 3.0 drives through its two USB ports. It connects to your local network via Wi-Fi or its Ethernet port.

For your convenience, the SHIELD TV includes a gaming-style controller with a built-in microphone, which supports Google Assistant voice-search functionality. This controller also features a headphone output for private listening. The SHIELD TV has a number of popular apps built-in and includes a conventional remote control in addition to the gaming controller.

Is the included Ac adapter world voltage? The plug is us plug?Does the remote have a headphone jack? I read somewhere the new version is without the headphone jack? But in the description here it says it has a headphones jack.

Both the pro and non-pro versions come with multivoltage support. They are both 100-240v. The pro version has an external power supply and the non-pro doesnt. I live in Argentina and both work without any issue.

The Kanex Pro HDMI audio de-embedder BH #KAHAECOAX should work for you. It has an optical out and can support 5.1 audio.

I'm looking at connecting this to a projector with a Sony BDEV2100 Home theatre that has HDMI ARC and SPDIF/Optical out. Since the Shield does not have any optical out are they any possible adapter that can connect to a 5.1 supporting Netflix 5.1 as well or is there any Audio Extractor that can connect via Sony's HDMI ARC with Shield's HDMI plus the BenQ HT2050?. TIA

An HDMI audio extractor would be your best option for this system. Something like the Kanex Pro audio de-embedder,BH #KAHAECOAX .You can go optical out into your systems optical.
