Transcend StoreJet Reviews
Great product
This works perfectly with my orphan SSD drive and it is fast. I wish there had been installation instructions included. I had to go on YouTube to find instructions on how to get the case open and assemble the pieces. The tiny screwdriver was a nice touch.
So easy!
Just got my second enclosure kit. It would have taken less than 10 minutes from the time I got it out of the box until I had the drive connected and working if I hadn't forgotten that I needed to initialize it first! Once I did it was smooth sailing. The kit is complete with a spacer that attaches to the drive when a 7mm unit is installed and a magnetic tip screw driver for final assembly of the shell. The rubber jacket provides bump protection and also keeps the unit from sliding around on the desk. The case is plastic and there are no vents, so it's probably a better choice for an SSD than a spinning rust drive. That said however my older enclosure does have a 7200rpm drive in it and I have not had problems with overheating.
