The Conversion Socket 5/8" Female to 5/8" Female from Impact is a useful accessory that can be employed to convert the male 5/8" stud on a stand, for example, to a female 5/8" receiver. An alternate use would be joining two 5/8" studs together or joining grip gear like extension arms that also have 5/8" studs.
- Converts 5/8" Male to 5/8" Female
- Joins Two 5/8" Studs

Impact SRP-125P Reviews
It should come with 2 knobs
Solid, well made, nicely finished. I replaced the Allen set screw with a second nearly-identical knob that I had in my collection, which makes it more convenient to use and obviates the need for carrying a loose hex wrench that can easily get lost.
Solid build
Very easy to use. Comes in handy to attach to baby pins with use on C-stands; then providing both 1/4 20 and 3/8 mounting options.
Works great
Got this to mount a kino diva 400 lite on a regular Matthews light stand. Does the trick.
almost perfect
not really sure why you need an allen wrench for one side, why not another torque screw?
Solid
Perfect as described, super-strong - price is excellent for the quality of this part.
socket
its fine
2 knobs are better than 1
I find the set screw inconvenient and I wish they included a second knob. I have extras in my collection, but still ...
Exactly what I needed!
My Westcott Flex lights use male pins instead of female. When I'm running and gunning, the required knuckles are heavy and take up too much space in the case. With these conversion sockets, I can attach them to the light and leave them there. They still fit in the case and let me work faster and lighter.
