The Tristar 2 High-Brightness Daylight SMD LED Light features 63 daylight balanced SMD LEDs and is suitable for use on camcorders, video capable DSLRs, or ENG-style cameras. A built-in dimmer allows you to adjust the brightness level of the light, which draws only 6 watts at maximum brightness. This light can be powered by four AA batteries (not included), as well as by a D-Tap using the included D-Tap cable.
The detachable 2-leaf metal barndoors help you control spill and shape the lights output. A diffusion filter and a daylight to tungsten (CTO) filter are also attached to the barndoors. These two filters can be used individually to soften or change the color temperature of the light's output. An included cold shoe to ball joint mount enables attaching the fixture to your camera's cold shoe mount.
