Loupedeck Photo Editing Console for Lightroom 6 & CC is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 71.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Feels like a BETA Product Very disappointed with my Loupedeck, and surprised to find all the positive reviews. I absolutely love the concept and was excited to try it out, but in practice, I've not enjoyed it. The primary issue is the buttons throughout the console. All of the buttons feel incredible mushy and hard to push. I frequently have to push some 2-3 times to get them to respond. Next, the dials take far too much time to turn to adjust the appropriate setting in lightroom. There is no way to adjust this in the loupe deck software. Also, the plugin is very buggy. The copy/paste function does not copy/paste the same way lightroom does. It doesn't seem to copy exposure values from one photo to the next, and when editing large batches of photos, this actually slows me down from a mouse and keyboard. Thinking a V2 is needed and will hopefully be an improvement over this

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Excellent Idea but poorly implemented The Loupedeck is a very good idea for peoples using Adobe Lightroom 6 BUT it was poorly realized The DC cable is permanently connected to the console so if break you have to send to manufacturer in Finland to replace the cable There is NO MANUAL you have to download it from their site, they are several PDF files in different languages As soon as you have installed the control software it will load automaticaly at startup of your computer, there is no option in software to diseable the auto load The quality of the control on the console is very poor , they will not last long in case of intensive use It could be a great product, the idea is excellent but need more work on software and better quality hardware

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very cool, but you might want to wait for V2! A beautiful, but imperfect solution - just a couple of tweaks would make it just right. That being said, I'm not going back to keyboard and mouse alone anytime soon! The build quality is underwhelming. Not cheap, but it's no Apple product. Everything is 100% made out of plastic. The dials have a little side-to-side play, and each one feels a little different - not by design, but because the components used exhibit variation. All of the buttons/keys are ridiculous; way to flat, not enough travel, and they make sort of annoying squeaking sounds when pressed. I'd give them a little more room around the periphery for the next version - they almost feel like they're getting stuck down on the sides when pressed! Now the good stuff - I think the layout and design is absolutely awesome. These guys really understand which editing tools are absolutely necessary. I'd like to be able to customize more buttons and dials, but this is really very good. My wish list for the next version: -A small slide-out QWERTY keyboard (there's definitely room in the case for this), maybe with a built-in touchpad. Hidden away when you don't need it! -MAKE IT WIRELESS! RF, bluetooth, who cares - just make it wireless. Charge me an extra $100 - I'll pay it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Productivity Tool I am still getting used to turning knobs in the device versus finding the the sliders, however, I find it much quicker to turn the knobs and move on to the next edit. I like it. It is a little wider than I expected and it appears like a delicate instrument. LoupeDeck offer a carrying case which I am trying to procure directly from them. I hope in the 2.0 version, which I will probably buy is that: 1. They make it as wide as my 15" MacBook (It hangs 1" on the sides) 2. They slim it down. (Portability is important to me.) 3. Make it Bluetooth 4. Have a USB-C option I am happy for a version 1. I will use it as my Lightroom companion.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A valuable new tool, and enjoyable to use! I am not a professional, and do not need to process many images at a time. It seems that other reviewers find the Loupedeck most useful for that type of work. However, I recommend it also for users like me. My 68-year-old eyeballs are having difficulty scrolling and using Lightroom's sliders, especially since buying a 4K notebook with high resolution and tiny, minute sliders! The knobs make it easy to make slight adjustments, greatly improving the quality of my edits. Processing is fun again. I highly recommend trying this out. I've used it now for two weeks and will not be returning it!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Feels like a Beta product I wanted to love this. Unfortunately, the physical construction and software implementation made this incredible frustrating to use. The physical buttons are incredible mushy and hard to press. They're also very unforgiving as to where you push them. The software implementation with lightroom as it stands is terrible. Basic functions like copy/paste don't work reliably, and the knobs take far too long to turn to make the proper adjustments. This did anything but save time when I tried to use it

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It works like it's suppose to, but ..... I still found myself having to use my mouse all the time. Maybe for some people it will fit into their work flow perfectly, but unfortunately it didn't for me. I edit an enormous amount of real estate photos and spend hours in Lightroom daily. I have always used quick collection and there wasn't a key for that and programming one of the custom keys wasn't an option either. I also do a lot with transform. The rotate dial works great for rotation, but I had to go back to the mouse for vertical, horizontal and aspect. I loved how easy it was to make minute changes to exposure and temperature.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from NO Delete button It dose help a bit to faster your edit but im not using it anymore cuz i can basically edit even faster than this by using my gaming keyboard with all saves presets . It dose look fancy and futuristic specially when you have your client sitting next to you. IT DOSENT HAVE DELETE KEY this is a deal breaker for me . You cant even program the C1, C2, C3 keys to delete. I am a pro wedding photographer and sometimes i am taking 5-10 shots to get the perfect one and when i need to delete some of the photos that i dont like i need to go back an fort between keyboard to make that happen that is very frustrating.
