With built-in beamforming technology and four high performance antennas the E8400 AC2400 Wireless Dual-Band Gigabit Router from Linksys is capable of emitting a Wi-Fi signal directly to connected devices for a more reliable, concentrated signal. In addition to beamforming technology, this router supports the 802.11ac Wi-Fi network standard and operates on both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies for data transfer rates of up to 2.3 Gbps. Inside the E8400 you will find a dual core 1.4 GHz processor designed to ensure smooth operation even when the router is being pushed to its limit. If a wired connection is needed, the E8400 comes equipped with four Gigabit Ethernet ports as well as a single USB 3.0 port and a single eSATA port to connect USB enabled storage devices directly to the network.
