A flexible soft light source, the FACTOR 1x2 LED-1380 ASVL Bi-Color Dimmable Studio Light from Fotodiox offers both notable output along with an inherently diffuse light quality with no multiple shadows. As a bi-color light, color temperature can be set between 3200-5600K for working in various ambient light conditions, and a high CRI of 95 ensures accurate subject rendition. Compared to conventional LED bulbs, this panel uses LED chips in order to maintain high output, up to 2800 lux at 5600K or 2150 lux at 3200K, throughout the color temperature range, and 10-100% dimming is also available and can be controlled using the on-board LCD or via DMX.
The panel itself has a 10 x 19" illumination area and the LED chips are set into the body of the panel, rather than against the diffuser, to create a softer, more even light quality. The panel can be run on 100-240 VAC power or 15 VDC power using an optional V-mount battery. Additionally, the light comes with a four-way barndoors for controlling the light beam as well as a yoke with an integrated 5/8" mount.
