Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight, clear picture, wireless projector “This is a review for the Epson Powerlite 1780W Projector that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review." As a consultant, author, presenter, and educator I use a projector multiple times a week. The Epson Powerlite 1780W is a huge difference from my old, big, bulky projector. I was pleasantly surprised with the size and weight of this projector. It comes in around 4 pounds. The sleek design and trendy white color make it attractive to use. Some of the features that I like with this projector is the ability to adjust vertically or horizontally. The color and picture are unbelievably clear. The ease of set up was also a great feature. I was up and going in just a short time. It took me around 10 minutes to become familiar with the projector and hook it up. The best feature that sets this apart from others is the fact that you can connect wirelessly AND from your tablet, computer or phone! The padded case is also a great added benefit. It is very sleek, small and has just the right amount of pockets to hold all the cables, remote, and unit itself. Other reviewers mentioned the sound quality, however, I did not have an issue with the sound. I did not think the fan was noticeable either. All in all, I am very happy with this projector. The color and clarity of the picture being projected was a plus. The compact and lightweight feature was a bonus. The wireless connectivity was the icing on the cake! That sold me!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it This is a review for the Epson Powerlite 1780W Projector that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. I love this projector. I have used it everyday since I received it. For my job, I am always doing some type of presentation for my job. I was excited that the 1780w was light weight and easy to attach to a laptop. It showed great quality when presenting my screens. I received many compliments. At home the 1780w was good also. I was able to connect to my network fairly easy. I presented a few movies on the wall for the kids. They definitely enjoyed seeing the big picture on the wall. The projector comes with all the cables you need to connect to the standard components. It also come with a carrying case. The case doesn't protect it but it gets you for one place to another. I would highly recommend this projector for business. Excellent quality!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sleek Modern Projector from Epson I would say, This is one of the best Projectors from Epson. The best feature of this product in my opinion is the ability to project wirelessly. Though there have been many others that have already come up with Wireless technology, the sleek and lightweight product from Epson makes it more usable. There is no lag, you could control everything from their App in Mobile or Computer. It even comes with a carrying bag, wires and connectors. It would have been great if they provided a HDMI Cable but that's not a deal breaker. The only thing I would say is a concern, is the price. To provide this range of quality, the price always comes as a bargain but I think the 749$ price tag is a bit much. It might be a good deal for Small Businesses and for Home Theaters. Apart from that, the solid structure, and a simple stand, intuitive user interface and ergonomic remote makes it an awesome device.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Value for Multimedia Projector This is a review for the Epson Powerlite 1780W Projector that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. This product is very easy to setup and I had it working in a matter of moments. I tried several different sources (Mac, PC, Chromecast, and Roku). The included connections were spot on for modern day usage. The HDMI connector worked flawlessly for both video and sound. The picture quality was excellent and and a good ability to adjust when needed. The device is very portable and could easily be put into a backpack (like one to carry a laptop). My only issue with the device is that there was no way to hook up an external source for sound to go out. I would have liked to see the ability to hook up the sound to a sound bar or speaker system instead of just using the internal speaker on the projector. Pros: light weight, about the size of a laptop, many different connectors for video Cons: no external sound connection

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ideal size, weight, clarity. Fit my needs perfectly This is a review for the Epson Powerlite 1780W Projector that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. I didn’t know what to expect after using my previous, bulky, clunky, heavy projector but this one worked like a charm. It’s lightweight yet sturdy so it’s perfect for me. It weighs around 4 lbs & the projection quality & clarity is excellent. I’m a consultant and travel every day to meetings & at least 3 times a month by plane so it was a pleasure to travel and use this projector. The carrying case is adequately padded so I’m sure it should travel fairly well when I fly. The clarity was fine on both my screen for work and on my wall when’s I tested it at home. After my work presentation A colleague noticed then commented that the clarity was much better than my older one. It’s ideal that it’s wireless & you can project from your phone or laptop. I had no trouble with either mode.Really delighted with this projector & I highly recommend it.
