Canare TS-100U Reviews
WOW! This is an outstanding tool. High-quality and seriously well engineered.
I bought both the TS100U (from B&H) and the Neutrik CS-BNC-RT (from Mouser Electronics) to strip Belden 1694A cable. The difference in usability is night and day. The TS100U worked perfectly right out of the box, no adjustments, no guesswork. Just select the preset and go. On the other hand, the CS-BNC-RT required about 30-35 attempts of trial and error, tweaking adjustment screws over and over before I finally got a clean strip, and even then, it wasn’t as consistent. What really sets the TS100U apart is its simplicity: -5 built-in presets for common cable types -Selector knob = instant configuration -No disassembly, no swapping parts With the CS-BNC-RT, you have to swap color-coded components and fine-tune screws every time. I’ve attached a photo showing the results (TS100U on top, CS-BNC-RT on the bottom). Thanks for reading.
I don't review things
I rarely am pleased or displeased enough to bother reviewing stuff. This thing is fantastic. It may be that I had such a terrible experience with my old stripper that I'm over losing the quality of this one. That so, I'm impressed with the quality, adjustability and ease of use. Couldn't be happier.
