Rated 3 out of 5 by from Tight fit for Atomos Ninja 2 The drive itself is great...can't go wrong with G-Technology. The issue I had is that the case itself immediately got stuck in my Atomos Ninja 2 recorder. I ended up pulling it out with pliers. It also got stuck in G-Technology's dock, which just made me frustrated with the metal casing in general. Ultimately, I ended up removing the drive from its casing (which was a joy with security screws), and putting it in one of the plastic Atomos ones. Now it fits (and comes back out) pretty well. I know the Ninja 2 has some knocks for this issue, but this drive is literally made for Atomos products, and I couldn't even fit it in the dock. I'm glad I had the wherewithal to figure out a solution, but to me it just points to a flawed product. Whether Atomos or G-Tech are to blame, I don't know...but it would be great to figure out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it I've been waiting a long time for some kind of affordable storage for my Atomos Shogun, and every product that I looked at was over $300 and I finally found one with enough memory that was under $100 . This is an excellent product and I plan on getting more

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent While it provides plenty of storage and recording time, it's very hard/impossible to get out of the monitor (I have a atomos ninja blade) with your bare hands... I have to use pliers to get the hard drive out every time, thank god it's casing isn't plastic otherwise I'm sure it would crack eventually. For that reason, I gave it 3 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It was made by G-Technology. That's all I needed to know. My Ninja 2 is used for backup recordings only. It was nice to learn I could use a large storage, inexpensive 7200 RPM drive instead of a newer, smaller capacity, and more expensive CF Fast Card or SSD drive. Besides all of my drives for my video editor are made by G-Technology.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from buy over again and again i use this with my atomos ninja blade. no problems whatsoever. i also use this as a external hard drive when on the go. the speed at which i can render and complete my work is unreal. faster than the harddrive on my laptop.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Tripod System Can't beat the value for this quality. Very smooth fluid head that holds ample weight with nice carbon fiber legs and mid level spreader. Also lighted leveling bubble. Really great product. Very happy with the purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Would Give It 5 Stars If 2 TB Works fantastic but don't like swapping out a hard-drive half-way through a conference. Wondering if they will ever come out w/ a 2TB version.
