Blocks viewfinder

Like another reviewer mentioned, the viewfinder gets blocked by this lens - the teleconverter only applies to the EVF, rendering the OVF basically unusable. It seems like it works great, but as an OVF primary / hybrid shooter, this is a no-go for me. It's also a bit bulky - I kinda like the X100 series as-is and just decided to work harder to take photos with built-in fixed.

Great 50mm Equivalent Lens

I shot with a 50mm f/2 lens back in the film days, so I've always been comfortable with the framing of that focal length. I just recently picked up the TCL-X100II, and I shot some images at the OPTIC West conference in Monterey. If you like a 50mm focal length, don't hesitate. It is sharp, and fast. With the TCL attached, the size of the camera/lens combination changes, and for some, it may be too big. For me, the X100V with both the WCL and the TCL lenses is a very small system to carry around, and the image quality is great.
