Fujifilm TCL-X100 II overview

Dedicated to the Fujifilm X100F digital camera, the black TCL-X100 II Tele Conversion Lens narrows the original lens's field of view by 1.4x to offer a tighter, 50mm equivalent focal length. This add-on lens is designed to maintain the optical performance of the original lens, and the X100F camera body also recognizes when the conversion lens is attached and displays matching frame lines when working with the optical viewfinder.

Fujifilm TCL-X100 II reviews

TCL-X100 II Tele Conversion Lens (Black) is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great accessory for any x100 owner. I bought this so that I can do occasional portraits with my X100F, when the normal 35mm field of view wouldn't be enough. The TCL-X100 II is designed to work with the X100F and tell the camera that it is attached without having to go through the menus (like you will most likely still have to do on the X100-X100T). The optics are great, and pictures are very sharp. Overall, carrying a X100 and one, or both, of the conversion lenses is still a much lighter and more effective option than carrying a big DSLR and a lens or two.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT ADDITION TO THE x100f I've had a little time to work with the TCL x100ll and am impressed with what it brings to the little f100x. Image quality with it attached is very good, once it's attached the camera knows it is there and responds seamlessly. It doesn't add a huge amount of focal length but enough to shoot fairly tight portraits without the bit of distortion you get with just the basic lens. I have mine on quite a bit and haven't had a problem with it coming lose. I have a 67mm Hoya filter on it and I do need to check it periodically. For hiking and the like I usually have the WLC on which I also have. On the negative side, it's a big chunk of glass compared to the camera itself. With a 67mm filter on it adds right at 2 inches to the width of the camera and of course the front element is almost 2 3/4 inch across. It will of course make the camera front heavy. As they say, there is no free lunch. In closing, if you never do portrait work with the camera, I'd think twice about spending the money, however if you want that option then I think the TCL really expands the capability of the camera

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A must have for the x100f Build quality is so good as always from fuji. I didn't notice any loss of iq at all when it is attached to my x100f, except when you're at f2. We all know that x100 series lenses are a bit soft wide open especially when you're closer to your subject, so for me the sweet spot is at f4-f16. Highly recommended

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Classy addition Works as advertised. Looks quite elegant on the body and the silver finish is a spot on match. Many people thought I was shooting with a Leica. The build quality is substantial, and although this is a conversion lens, the optics hold up well with no noticeable loss in image quality. Well done, Fuji.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good chunk of glass I got this for my Fuji X100F. It adds some focal length, weight, and bulk to the camera. I definitely recommend getting a filter for this lens; the objective is big and very convex, so it's easy to get dirty but tricky to clean. This lens took a fall that dented the filter ring (should have had a filter on there!) but the optics weren't affected at all. Definitely worth getting if you want a portrait-length option.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredible Incredible what this lens can do. Ended up keeping my 5D Mark IV in my bag for my most recent shoot and had no regrets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Makes the limitations of the X100F not so limiting I got the X100F for its size, capabilities and its limitation- a fixed wide angle lens. While there's virtue working within constraints I'm grateful for the option to break out just a bit. Having a high quality conversion tele lens is awesome those portraits I didn't want to compromise on.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Is it really worth it? I doubt. It's abit tricky to screw in but you will get used to it after abit. It's really well made. After buying it and not actually using it as much as i thought. I find it a really luxury option which you can get away without easily . I mean the reason i bought the X100f for is portability and this ruins it. I would get away much easier with the digital zoom in the camera. If i can go back in time i would saved up its money for buying kitkat or Oreo. I like Oreo.
