Padded Tripod / Light Stand Case (27") is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Case This is a nice case that seems well designed & well made. Material seems fairly strong. I like the shoulder-strap length at 38 inches (fits me avg build comfortably across the back, like a quiver of arrows). This is definitely a padded case, & while I'm sure there are cases made for more rugged traveling needs, or more delicate equip, the padding seems adequate unless the case gets literally thrown around or packed between heavy equip. The hobby-level person, or the pro who doesn't subject his / her equipment to rugged situations, should be pleased with this case. Regarding interior space, one of my tripods (with a built-in head) is approx 4x4 (inches) in thickness (top to bottom). When I made its length 26 inches, it fit well in thickness (with room to spare) & just did fit, in length, when I put the legs in last & worked them in one-by-one; however, a 25-inch length made it quicker to get the tripod in & out. I believe that a tripod-head 5x5 inches in thickness would fit, but I'm not positive about one any thicker. Regarding duration of quality, time will tell (I just acquired mine); however, I'm pleased with its first impression.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from OK, simple case Nothing fancy, just does the job inexpensively. Next time, I might spend more for a case with an adjustable shoulder strap. My Manfrotto MK290DUA3-BHUS 290 Dual Aluminum Tripod with Ball Head, which states in the specs that it is 27 long when folded, just barely fits through the zipper, which does not extend onto either end of the case...phew! Takes a couple of extra seconds each time to wedge it in or out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ruggard Padded Tripod / Light Stand Case (27”) My Manfrotto 190 is kelp in this. The fit is great and so is the padding and extra pocket. It is very well made by Ruggard. I’m very glad that B&H has in on their very nice website. Jim, Charlotte, NC.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Case for Monopod and Insect Nets The case is reasonably strong but very lightweight. It's easy to sling over the shoulder and across the chest to keep it out of the way.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ruggard 2027 and 3027 compared I bought the Ruggard BP-2027 case in 2014. I've taken it on airplanes and all over; it took a lot of beating and it has held up. It's a well-made bag, and I like it, but it's but very bare-bones. The outside zippered pocket is very thin and doesn't hold much more than a wired release, some small tools, bungee cord, some paper. The bag is padded and has a shoulder strap which is thin and permanently attached. However, for my slider, I wanted a (second) bag with some extra space for accessories. So I purchased the BD-3027. It's a nice bag, also padded. It has a shoulder strap which is removeable. The outside pocket is much bigger than the 2027; it's about two inches deep. I can keep a TurnsPro in it, but it's a bit of a squeeze, but it fits. The outside pocket has a divider; in fact, my goal is to fit two Turnspros in there, so that's a nice feature for me. It has a little slot for name tag or business card on the outside for identification. Overall, two well made bags for a good value; choose which one depending on whether you care about a detachable shoulder strap, and larger secondary storage for accessories. If you're only carrying a tripod with no accessories, the 2027 is fine. The 3027 might be the answer if you're carrying more gear.
