Does it add any thickness or magnifying to the finder?
Asked by: SOHEIL
Yes, it adds about a millimeter of thickness to the finder, allowing older style eyepieces to be attached to the M10. It does not provide any extra magnifying to the finder as it is just an adapter.

Is there any dimming in the finder? Smaller hole = less light transmission?
Asked by: Ivo
It would make the opening smaller, and more equivalent to the viewfinder opening of the prior M cameras. Light transmission should be about the same, just that you wouldn't see as much of the outer outlines of the parallax correction lines. But we are talking a very small difference here.

question

Since this is reducing the thread diameter for the viewfinder, does it also reduce the field of vision?
Asked by: Richard
I had wondered the same thing. I cant be fully certain, but I dont think the field of view is appreciably reduced.
