This Realtree Max5 Lens Cover from LensCoat fits onto a Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM lens, covering it with a 100% closed-cell neoprene coat and protecting it from bumps and scratches to preserve its value and condition. Its insulated design provides a thermal barrier between your hands and the lens surface when working in colder temperatures, and it is also waterproof so your lens is protected when you are working in rainy weather. For maintained function and visibility, clear UV-PVC windows cover the autofocus and image stabilizer controls, as well as the distance scale. Suited for photojournalists and sports shooters, this cover breaks up the shape of the lens to make it beneficial for wildlife and nature photographers as well.

The Realtree Max5 camouflage pattern is effective in open terrain. The design incorporates cattails, reeds, cane and grasses to blend into flooded marshes, plus corn, wheat, oats and sunflowers to hide you in open fields. It is made in the USA.

Lens Cover for Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM Lens (Realtree Max5) is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 41.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Junk One word to describe this product is: junk. This product has multiple pieces. Since each piece covers one segment of the lens separately, leaving seems between segments, the product won't protect water or dust. Since each piece is made by thin, cheap material, it cannot firmly hold the lens, nor provide any shocking protection. The most ugly thing is that the edge of each piece is not straight, like a work done by a toddler who is learning to use scissors. Overall, this product provides no protection to my precious lens but making it ugly. I really think it should only be allowed to sell in a dollar store rather than a professional camera store.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Better than expected... I was very hesitant to purchase this Len's Coat product because of some of the reviews I've read. Granted, yes... it is pricey for what you get, but the product did it's job! I shoot primarily in Oregon, and Washington state. I needed something to protect my lens from the rain, and from possible issues when I was covering some protests. It took a few minutes to line up on my lens, but it wasn't an issue. This purchase was a test as to it's performance which in my opinion did very well in some heavy rain. I do plan on getting more Lens Coat covers for my other array of lenses. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was the price. I hope this information is helpful to all of you out there!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Keep It Covered I use the LensCoats for 2 reasons. 1. When I'm outdoors I have it for protection from the elements, rain & sun. Also I do a fair amount of off the beaten path traveling and it provides protection from the brush. 2. I would rather not advertise what I'm carrying. Whether here in the USA or overseas I just don't want the average prying eye to see an expensive lens. Soccer moms & dads are happy to show their expensive gear that they barely know how to use, till it's snatched away. I've used this product since 2009 and have not one complaint about it. I usually do not use the cover for the hood as I see no need for it. Cover the lens & cover the body keeps everybody guessing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from NIce thought but does not work! IUt is actualy about six pieces that just sewn neoprene type material. The smallest being half an inch. Each piece moves and rolls up when taking it in and out of the camera bag. WOULD NOT RECOMEND! In fact would not even rate it one star if I did not have to.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lens Coat Canon 70-200 The lens coat does it job well. Makes the big white canon lens much less noticeable and provides protection from bumps and scrapes. This definitely makes a difference in the shots you can take of people. People are much less likely to notice the lens because the lens is covered. The optional pieces on the focus and zoom rings provide less grip but taking them off looks a little weird and sorta defeats the purpose. Definitely provides protection from the cold if you don't wear gloves during the winter.Install process takes a few minutes and it stays on the lens. Be careful however, on putting the lens in and out of bags. The lens hood section may shift about if the lens is a tight fit, at least in my experience.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not what I thought I guess it will keep the lens from being scratched. I'm just not over joyed with this product. I thought it was going to be alot tighter fit. I thought once on it would stay on. I'm very sorry if someone elose bought this like I.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not impressed! Definitelly NOT what I expected. The package contains a set of neoprene sleeves, one for each area of the lens. They rub each other, making it dificult to rotate the zoom and focus rings. I have removed them.
