The overall frequency response is balanced and quite flat, with a slight rise from 7 to 11 kHz to exude enhanced presence and brilliance. Thanks to the cardioid polar pattern, cancellation at the rear of the mic exceeds 25 dB, helping minimize background noise and bleed from other sounds. Both compact and durable, the metal-bodied M 930 is attractive and easy to place. It includes a microphone holder and a wooden case for storage.

The M 930 studio microphone combines updated large-diaphragm capsule technology with the latest semiconductor circuit technology. The condenser capsules exhibits a smooth frequency response with a slight presence boost in the 7 to 11 kHz range.

Detailed and Clear

The electronic impedance converter uses a newly perfected circuit topology. This design reduces the noise floor to an extremely low level (just 7 dBA) while also raising the maximum output capability. As a result, the microphone has a clean, distortion-free sound over an extremely wide dynamic range. Also, RFI susceptibility is very low.

Cardioid Polar Pattern

The polar response exhibits an exceptionally high degree of rejection for sounds impinging from the rear of the mic.

Internal Elastic Suspension

The microphone capsule and electronics are elastically suspended inside the compact metal housing. This reduces the sensitivity to mechanical impact and structure-borne noise.
