The Ibanez TS808HW is an iteration of their classic overdrive pedal, the Tube Screamer. Chances are, if your interest in playing the electric guitar has extended you into the world of stompboxes, you have already heard of the Tube Screamer—if not heard it outright. One can describe its timbre as a warm overdrive that's versatile enough to be found on the pedalboards of rock, blues, country, and jazz musicians alike.
This particular version of the Tube Screamer is completely hand-wired and utilizes the same select JRC4558D chips found in the original TS808, as well as high-end Japanese Mogami AWG21 OFC cabling, and it comes encased in a special heavy-duty metal enclosure to ensure durability. It's also equipped with true bypass, ensuring no introduction of signal loss when using this pedal in your signal chain. Like the original TS808, the TS808HW delivers tonal, level, and volume control over your overdrive sound, allowing you to engender textures ranging from the buzzard-like grit of John Scofield to the singular wailing and deftness of Stevie Ray Vaughan.
Available for a limited production run, the hand-wired TS808HW Tube Screamer pedal can be powered by one 9V battery or an optional AC power adapter.
