What container would you recommend for storing 1.25 gallons of stock solution?

Why not saving the storage headache and mix for 32oz bottles? That's 73g divided by 5 = 14.6g

How long to be washed after fixer?

black and white film, 2- 4 minutes, then hypo clear, and wash 5 minutes.
