I have used Cescolite trays since the 1960s. They are durable and high quality. The dimple trays are essential for sheet film processing.

A joy to work with...

very comfortable to use, with the dimple no sticky prints, need less liquids than the Paterson's. Made from a strong plastic material, which is easy to clean.

Perfect for developing sheet film

I've dedicated these for developing my 8x10 sheet film. The dimples make it easier to lift the film as it is shuffled---which is much easier than using trays with ribs or using flat bottom trays (torture!) The only downside is that these trays aren't inexpensive, but then nothing about 8x10 format is inexpensive. The peace of mind I get from using them and not getting scratched negatives is IMHO worth it

not the right one but it would do

Great for developing 8x10 sheet film.

This is the only plastic tray I own; I prefer stainless steel for all darkroom items. But 8x10 sheet film can stick like glue to a flat-bottomed stainless tray. This solves the problem and is a quality product as well.

Best I've Ever Owned

These trays are great to use. Your prints will not stick to the bottom. The trays are big enough to enable easy use of tongs and small enough to allow economical quantities of chemicals. They are also easy to clean and store and a compensating temperature probe fits close to the bottom. I wish I had discovered them years ago!
