VDO360 Compass Overview

The VPTZPC-02 Compass Camera Assembly with Built-In NUC Computer features a built-in NUC-style computer running Windows 10 Pro and is a self-contained PTZ camera and web conferencing system compatible with most video conferencing software. It features a 1/2.7" CMOS sensor with 1920 x 1080 native resolution and, unlike most webcams, provides full pan, tilt, and zoom (PTZ) functionality offering 300° of pan, 180° of tilt, and a 10x optical zoom range.

Video is encoded using the MJPEG format, with video resolutions of 1080p, 720p, and 640 x 480 available at 30fps. The camera, along with PTZ functions, can be controlled using the included IR remote, or via the RS-232 serial port. Up to seven position presets can be stored on the IR remote, with more presets available through RS-232 or from the on-screen application via USB. A USB 2.0 cable and RS-232 cable comes included. It includes a monitor mount (a small shelf that attaches to a TV or other flat panel display), and features a 1/4"-20 threaded hole for tripod mounting. The VPTZPC-02 incorporates four USB 3.0 and two Mini DisplayPort connectors.
