I am wondering if there is a perfect backpack for all. This one is significant better than my previous. Lots of space inside for 2 cameras and lens. There are afair amount of pockets for you small items to be placed. I am still working out the best packing scheme for myself.u

I only had the Vanguard Alta Sky 53 Camera Backpack for a short time. So far my impression is overall very positive. It is comfortable to carry, it has a lot of space, zippers are smooth, and fits my needs. I like that it stands up on its own, and that I can access my camera from the top or the back. The only downside for me is that the space designated for large lenses is only accessible if the side dividers are moved out of the way on at least one side. That significantly reduces the available space again.

Will it hold a SONY 600mm F4 GM? And will it be allowed as carry-on in domestic USA flights?
Asked by: Deepak
The Sony 600mm would be a very tight fit; the pack is a little larger than the guidelines for carry-on baggage, but it pays to check with the specific airline you are traveling on--their requirements vary.

question

Okay for carry-on?
Asked by: Michael
I have travelled with it to Costa Rica and within the United States and no has even questioned it being too big. It is still smaller than the roller board bags. An amazing bag!
