  • 1Description

The A12 Convertible Android 12.2" Tablet from Lenovo offers a light and portable design and is optimized for the Android platform. Powered by a 1.44 GHz Intel Atom x5-Z8550 Quad-Core processor and 2GB LPDDR3 RAM, the Lenovo A12 can efficiently multitask and quickly access frequently used files and programs. Its 12.2" IPS display, driven by Intel integrated graphics, has a 1280 x 800 resolution and supports touch inputs, allowing you to utilize touch gestures and commands within the Android operating system to increase its efficiency and accessibility. It is also equipped with a non-removable physical keyboard for traditional typing.

While 32GB of storage may seem limited, you can attach external storage devices using its USB Type-C port as well as its microSD card reader. Connect to the Internet via 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi and pair compatible wireless peripherals with Bluetooth 4.1 technology to free up the USB port for more important devices. Other integrated features include a webcam, speakers, GPS, and an audio jack. The operating system installed is Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.

At roughly half an inch thin when closed and weighing two pounds, the Lenovo A12 fits easily and comfortably into your backpack or bag so you can take it around.
Different Way to Type
The non-removable physical Halo Keyboard only appears when you need it. It also features predictive input, auto-correct/complete, artificial learning, and haptic feedback.

    Lenovo A12 reviews

A12 Convertible Android 12.2" Tablet is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Happy with Yoga A12 I was skeptic first regarding some of the reviews about the screen but changing brightness solves it. I love the price, battery life (it's amazing!!!), love the fact that it is touch screen (hello pool game), overall built quality, halo keyboard (although challenge at times but folds all the way for tablet utilization), expandable storage. However I wish, Lenovo folks pushes software update soon... that way I can enjoy latest Android (not that I'm not happy with current v6).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Near perfect Great tablet with a keyboard. It is easy to type on the keyboard once you get used to. Very good screen. Just a bit too heavy to read a book but great for magazine and newspaper. The keyboard act a bit strange when you fill out a form. I bought it to replace a chromebook and it is perfect for that.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from GREAT TABLET GOOD PRICE I wanted an Android tablet to sync with my phone. I can make changes to the Keep app and it updates my phone. I definitely wanted a bigger screen than my IPad Mini but didn't want to pay hundreds for it. I do a lot of surfing on the internet and this tablet is the perfect size for watching video and reading web pages or reports. The Halo keyboard takes a while to master but it saves more time then typing on the screen. I don't think I could do a lot of typing and editing documents or spreadsheets with the keyboard but I did type out this review pretty quickly. For everyday use this tablet works great. I love the yoga aspect as I can position it to suit my needs. For the price and the fact that I didn't have to buy an additional Bluetooth keyboard, this tablet is awesome.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from awesome computer! Since I purchased this computer 3 weeks ago, it has been my major productivity machine. I installed apps so the machine can be used like a linux computer. The keyboard is actually pretty cool and easy to type on. The computer is light and with the metal body, looks very nice.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good as a Tablet In the Specification detail, it is mentioned that Nano SIM slot is available but there is only Memory card Slot, I did not see any SIM slot. I tried to enter Nano SIM and it got stuck. I doubt that it has SIM slot or any SIM will work in it. It's RAM is bit less, so video occasionally stopped. Keyboard did not work smoothly, also you have to choose right Language for keyboard, special characters did not work same for English(US) and English(India). I am using Android Tablet first time, so I was not sure that there is no Cross (X) symbol in application window to close it. You can not resize application window. In tablet mode, half screen space is occupied by keyboard, I did not observe the way to reduce the size of keyboard, like we have in Android mobile. There is one more problem I observed that I did not see Scroll Bar in Chrome and file explorer, sometime Page Down and Page Up also did not work, either have to use Down Arrow or UP Arrow, or use touch screen to scroll down/up. With all these problems, the product Cost do not worth at all.
