Link is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from It does everything I had hoped for & more. Need long cables. It not only connects to my quad core MSI laptop but I can still read the memory that I have hooked up to the Mobile Studio Pro. How neat. Wish I could find longer cables for it. I tried a 10 foot USB-C Thunderbolt and it didn't work and I tried charging USB-C cables and they didn't work and I tried a longer mini Displayport cable and it didn't work. Only the cables that come with it work. Bummer. My laptop is on the other side of the room and I'd like to keep it there close to my work computer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No brainer. If you have a MobileStudio, this is required. Pros: Works great. Full 4k. I feel it's a required update if you want to use your MSP like a Cintiq (and you do if you have a more powerful machine at home). It's small, and will easily fit in your go bag. Cons: The included cables are too short. You want a new, longer, thunderbolt 3 cable from a reputable manufacturer ($30). The included mini displayport to mini displayport cable needs to be replaced if you are running directly out of a GTX 1080 (like I am, which only offers full sized displayport ports) another $15 or so. Does this mean you shouldn't buy this? No, you'd be silly not to buy it. For $150 (including new cables) you can use your $3k machine as if it were a different $1.5k machine! Sweet! Just know you should order these other cables at the same time you order the link to keep you from sitting around with buyer's remorse for a few days while you wait for your new cables that you just realized you would need to arrive. I purchased a Belkin thunderbolt 3 cable and it works great. It was the only brand name I recognized out of what was available at time of purchase. Also, as far as cons go, setting this display up through the link was a little fiddly on my end on Windows 10. Don't despair, if you have problems be persistent. If it's acting weird, unplug it, replug it, and start again. I imagine the software for this has probably been updated between my writing this and your reading it, but in case it hasn't been; the main problem I faced (which I had fixed in 10 minutes, so don't consider this a reason not to buy) was in the display pen tracking calibration. If at first you don't succeed, unplug, replug, calibrate again. If the MSP stand is available when you read this, order that too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Handy with 2 different uses types (Cintiq or USB-C to USB-A) Love it! Have not had an issue, the setup takes a bit of time and at first it will be laggy, but once the setup is fully completed, the device allows the Wacom MobileStudio Pro to work flawlessly with compatible devices. It can also be used as an USB-C to an older more commonly recognisable USB-A adapter for times where you do not need to use it's Cintiq capabilities.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Convert to a Cintiq tablet for another computer In order to run your Mobile studio pro from another computer and act as a cintiq tablet for it, you need this if your computer doesn't have a USB C port. It can also act as a USB C to USB A female converter. Your mobile studio pro only has USB C ports. A bit on the expensive side, that's why I gave it four stars even though it works as it should.
