If you need ambient sounds for epic soundscapes, arena-rocking sounds, or just the next level of epic for your lead lines, check out the Keeley Delay Workstation Pedal. Combining high quality and separately adjustable and controllable delay and reverb effects into a single pedal gives you access to a boatload of amazing tones in a compact pedalboard-friendly enclosure. 8 delay and 8 reverb effects can be selected from, ranging from standard repeats and decays to modulated and ethereal tones. Built-in/external tap tempo and an expression pedal input allow for real-time control of delay time and reverb trails, respectively.
Effects Sections
Delay Section
Effects available on the selector knob:
- 1 - Slapback: 30-500 ms delay time, Feedback control adds up to 5 repeats, Morph controls room reverb decay time
- 2 - Tape Delay: 50-950 ms delay time, imitates warm tape repeats, Morph controls feedback tone
- 3 - Multihead: Tape delay with multiple configurations, Morph controls virtual head configuration
- 4 - Analog: Imitates bucket-brigade chip sound with modulation, mod depth controlled by playing dynamics, Morph controls mod rate
- 5 - Digital: 50-950 ms delay time, pristine delay repeats with modulation, Morph controls rate and depth of mod simultaneously
- 6 - Subdivided: Digital delay with selectable subdivisions
- 7 - Ducking: Repeat sound suppressed (compressed) based on current input level, Morph selects a compression ratio
- 8 - Pitch: Repeats play back at a different pitch, Morph selects octave up, down, or off
Reverb Section
Effects available on the selector knob:
- 1 - Spring: Imitates a spring reverb unit, Morph blends spring and splat sounds
- 2 - Chamber: Imitates reverberations in a large chamber space, Morph controls ±10 dB @ 3.5 kHz on input side
- 3 - Hall: Imitates hall reverberations, Morph acts as a tone control
- 4 - Plate: Imitates a studio plate reverb, Morph acts as a tone control
- 5 - Shimmer: Reverberations play back an octave up, Morph blends in the upper octave
- 6 - Flanged: Adds flange and vibrato the the reverberations, Morph controls vibrato depth, turn past center for random modulation
- 7 - Tape Delay: Imitates warm tape repeats, Morph controls feedback tone
- 8 - Digital Delay: 50-950 ms delay time, pristine delay repeats with modulation, Morph controls rate and depth of mod simultaneously
Delay Controls
Morph
Adjusts specific effect parameters based on mode selected
Feedback
Adjusts delay feedback in all effect modes
Time
Adjusts time between repeats (can also be adjusted using the Tap Tempo switch or input)
Blend
A wet/dry blend of the dry input signal and the delay signal (50/50 at center)
Reverb Controls
Morph
Adjusts specific effect parameters based on mode selected
Predelay
Adjusts the delay time before the reverb comes in (may act differently depending on effect selection)
Decay
Adjusts the reverb decay time
Blend
A wet/dry blend of the dry input signal and the reverb trail (50/50 at center)
