Bosch ISC-BDL2-WP6G Overview

Featuring built-in PIR and microwave detection sensors and advanced signal processing, the ISC-BDL2-WP6G Blue Line Gen2 Pet-Friendly TriTech Motion Detector from Bosch provides accurate motion detection within its wide, 94° field of view. It covers a 20 x 20' area and features a pet immunity function, which allows it to distinguish between humans' and pets' motion. It can negate signals caused by one or two pets, up to 100 lb each.

First Step Processing (FSP) technology analyzes motion, limiting false alarms. For increased reliability, the detector's sensitivity is automatically adjusted based on signal amplitude, polarity, slope, and timing. The detector also adjusts its sensitivity to compensate for weather, ensuring accurate operation in varying weather conditions. Installation is quick with its self-locking enclosure and built-in bubble level.

I kept having false alarms and it was the old motion detector of a different brand. 2nd one that I've replaced with a Bosch and not one issue. And I thought the price was fair too.

Easy to install

Replaced Optex 40 X pri with Bosch Blue Line detectors. Bosch is quite a bit more sensitive and gives better coverage. These are great atributes for a good alarm system. Did not use the tamper portion of the detector. I have a 4 wire lead to the detector. Red to plus, black to neg. and the two other leads to the n/c terminals. Polarity is of no concern as you connect the n/c wires.

Hi guys, My pad says that I have a fault number 2 which means battery of the sensor is low. I removed it to change the battery, however I can not locate the battery. Is there even one? Any idea to help? Cheers
Asked by: Benoit
This is a hard wired motion sensor, there is no battery. My suggestion is to contact the Alarm installer. Low battery can be the backup battery on your panel. or an RF alarm sensor.
