I was a bit apprehensive when contemplating the purchase of 24 rods for a rig. Surely the aluminum would be sturdier than the fiber, I thought. However, after installing them into the rig, I have newfound respect for carbon fiber...they are strong, not flimsy or weak. I can now highly recommend them for their capabilities, and the bonus is that they are also much lighter!
