HPRC INS2-4600W Reviews
Almost perfect!
The custom cut foam is very well done, however there are some baffling things. One, the case is split into two sections (that's okay, but makes it a little difficult to get things on the bottom while there are things still on top like the batteries, which will simply fall through if you lift the top half) Also, there is supposed to be cutouts for tablets, yet none of them are big enough for a 9.7 iPad. I really wish one of them had been large enough to accommodate that. All the lens cutouts are on the bottom half of the foam, but there really isn't a place for filters, and not much space for cables. It's EXTREMELY well made, however, and I have complete faith in transporting my I2 in this case. But it's kind of big, so be prepared. One other thing: I have since learned that Pelican will not warranty any damage to their cases incurred during commercial air travel. This blows my mind, since this is why we buy them in the first place! So I'm very happy to have discovered HPRC and SKB as very able replacements to my Pelican cases. Both HPRC and SKB WILL warranty damage caused by commercial air travel. In fact, when I contacted both companies about their warranty policies, I got an almost immediate response from an executive at HPRC on a Sunday! If that's any indication of their customer service, I'm all in.
