I personally do not own the Komodo but bases on the cameras recording speeds I am going to say yes. The SanDisk 512GB Extreme PRO CFast 2.0 Memory Card is a different format than the Compact Flash cards use in the Canon EOS 7D DSLR camera. CFast cards are not compatible with Canon 7D. Sandisk makes the following Compact Flash compatible with your camera. https://bhpho.to/3IRW401

You cannot. This is a CFast 2.0 Card, The D5 is available with either CompactFlash slots or XQD slots, which are two different systems. CFast 2.0 Cards will not work.

The D5 either takes CF cards or XQD cards, Cfast is a different type of card. The camera comes in 2 different versions, if your camera takes CF cards the Sandisk card won't work.
