Why discard swab after use, do they self-destruct, dissolve ?
The swabs are dirty after one use. If used again you can get the sensor dirty. And if you get something hard on the swab can damage the sensor.
After one use you do need to discard it.

VisibleDust EZ Sensor Cleaning Kit Mini with 1.0x Green Vswabs and Smear Away comes with a dropper. You tilt it onto the swab and have to be careful to place a small drop onto the swab. A little goes a long way, use the least possible.
