Marshall Electronics V-LCD173HR Overview

The 6 RU 17.3" Professional LCD Rackmount Monitor from Marshall Electronics features a 1920 x 1080 resolution, an aspect ratio of 16:9, and a contrast ratio of 700:1. The monitor comes with a range of professional adjustment settings and HDMI, SDI, Composite, and RCA inputs and outputs. In addition, there is a 15-pin tally connector port and a USB port for firmware updates.

The front panel features rackmount ears, an SDI button, video buttons, a menu navigation knob, an HDMI button, user-definable function buttons, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a power button. The monitor comes with built-in histogram, peaking, false color, exposure, and adjustable safety markers, and it can monitor up to two audio channels as well. The monitor can be mounted via the VESA mounting holes to an optional stand or in an equipment rack with the included rack ears.

This thing is awesome! Does everything I need it to do. One thing to be aware of - it DOES come with a power supply, even though it's not listed in the What's In The Box list.

Does it have an Image flip horizontally? This is the passive cooling system, fanless and completely quiet when turned on?

Yes it has the ability to flip the image horizontally, vertically, or both. The passive cooling system doesn't "turn on" because it does not require any fans or components that create noise. it should be silent.
