What a pleasant surprise

I needed 4 wireless mics for four performing carolers, but the budget was very tight. I definitely couldn't afford to go high-tech, so I found a really good alternative.... VocoPro. I was concerned about signal dropouts and picking up unwanted interference, but this unit delivered beautifully. It has a quarter inch mix lineout but discovered that the best sound occurred when the individual line outs were plugged into a mixer, each with their own channel and EQ. It got the job done!!

We used this mic system and i am pleased with everything but the build of the lavilier mic head. There is no strain relief for the wire and within an hour we had a broken mic. It may have been a weak solder joint but cause us a problem. Otherwise i like

Do the lavs require phantom power or does the bias voltage from the battery powered body packs suffice?
Asked by: Jasmine
This wireless system uses 2xAA batteries to power the transmitters while the receiver is power by the power supply that it's provided in the box with it, so there's no need for phantom power.

How do I turn the battery box on?
Asked by: Cindy
To power this system up, plug the power supply of the receiver box into AC wall power, then flick the "power" switch button on front of the face. Two AA batteries must be installed into each of the belt pack transmitters. Gain for each mic can be adjusted on the corresponding colored knobs on the front of the receiver box.
