Do the lavs require phantom power or does the bias voltage from the battery powered body packs suffice?
Asked by: Jasmine
Phantom power only works thru a wired connection. These lavs are wireless. It only receives power from the battery in the pack it is connected to. Also be sure NOT to use phantom power going to the wired base receiver unit that is wired to your sound console because it could damage the base unit.

How do I turn the battery box on?

How do I turn the battery box on?
Asked by: Cindy
To power this system up, plug the power supply of the receiver box into AC wall power, then flick the "power" switch button on front of the face. Two AA batteries must be installed into each of the belt pack transmitters. Gain for each mic can be adjusted on the corresponding colored knobs on the front of the receiver box.

The transmitters run on AA batteries, and there is an on/off switch on the belt packs. The receiver is powered by an AC power supply, and has a power button on the face of the unit.
