Utilizing a tone-wood combination more commonly found in acoustic guitars, the 20BM from Cordoba is a baritone ukulele. Its top is constructed out of solid mahogany, and its back and sides are also fashioned out of mahogany. This configuration gives the instrument a round, harmonically-balanced timbre.
The neck, measuring 20.13” in scale, offers a composite fingerboard with 18 frets. Dotted inlays at the 5th, 7th, 10th, and 12th frets provide a visual indication of where you are on the fingerboard. The nut and saddle are fashioned out of a composite material, while the bridge is also constructed out of composite. A hand-inlaid wooden herringbone-pattern rosette lend aesthetic flourishes to the instrument. The open geared tuning machines are nickel with pearl buttons.
