A fast telephoto prime, the Canon EF-mount 135mm f/1.8 DG HSM from Sigma pairs bright and sophisticated optics with intuitive handling and design. As part of the Art line of lenses, this 135mm f/1.8 is designed for high-resolution rendering, and utilizes FLD and SLD glass to control chromatic aberrations and color fringing for notable clarity. A Super Multi-Layer Coating also enhances image quality by suppressing lens flare and ghosting for improved contrast and color fidelity in strong lighting conditions. Additionally, making it an ideal lens for portraiture, the bright f/1.8 maximum aperture pairs with a rounded nine-blade diaphragm to benefit selective focus and shallow depth of field imaging with smooth bokeh.

Will these lenses work with the Metabones Canon Full-Frame EF-Mount Lens to Micro Four Thirds-Mount Camera? Want to adapt to my Black Magic Pocket Camera 4k.
Asked by: William
At this time, we are saying that Metabones adapters are not fully supported on the Pocket 4K. Reports say that aperture and IS work but no AF at this time. Hopefully Metabones will have an update soon.

question

anyone know of a tripod mount collar ring or other type of support for this lens so all the weight of this heavy lens isnt entirely on where it mounts to the camera? thank you
Asked by: Justin
There is no specific collar known for this lens. It would seem the folks at Sigma do not seem to think this is a problem. If you must have a support, get a video 15mm LWS such as this. Opteka Universal DSLR Camera Mount Rod System B&H # OPCXS25 and this support Tilta 15mm LWS Rod Lens Support B&H # TILST05

question

Will autofocus and continuous focus work with C100 Mark II and C300 Mark 2 when I use this Sigma 135 f\1.8 DG HSM Art lens for Canon EF mount to record video?
Asked by: Anonymous
The Sigma Art Lenses usually work perfectly with Canon Auto Focus systems in both still and video modes. However, be aware that Canon can make firmware updates and the Sigma lens will have to be updated as well. There is the Sigma USB Dock for Canon EF-Mount Lenses B&H # SIUSBDC available for you to do that. Probably your camera service center can do this for a fee.
