This PZ-173 Bi-Directional Camera Plate for Select Pentax 645 Cameras from Kirk Enterprises is an Arca-type compatible plate, which fits the 645, 645N, 645Z, 645D, and 645NII Pentax cameras.  If a Arca-type compatible head is not available, the 1/4"-20 accessory thread can be used to mount to a conventional head.

The quick release plate features an anti-twist locking pin that prevents the camera from moving, when on a tripod head. When mounted, the 6061-T6 aluminum plate provides complete access to the battery door and is bi-directional so the camera can mount in any direction.

The camera plate has been black anodized, which makes it resistant to scuffs and corrosion.

PZ-173 Bi-Directional Camera Plate for Select Pentax 645 Cameras is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Larger base than RRS Given the option, I would probably select this version over the equally functional and well constructed RRS offering, simply because the mounting surface is larger. Otherwise, no preference.
