question
Can this also be used off camera?Using Pentax K-1
I use it off camera with a Vello Freewave transmitter/receiver. Works great. Excellent! Pushed four Coppertop AA bateries in the flash for 183 full power flashes, after 90 flashes the recycle time took about 5-7 seconds. Got me out of a jam when my studio strobe head fell and broke it's flashhead.

question
Will this fit on my K70. I currently have a sigma and when I try to use it to bounce light the pictures are over exposed. Can not find any help on what to do. I have manually tried changing the ISO to the lowest setting but it still overexposed pictures. HELP?
I have a K-50 with a Sigma EF-610 DG. I also have experienced many times the same over-exposed images you were having and it drove me nuts. Doesn't matter if I'm using Av, Tv or M with apertures dialed to f16 and smaller.
What I eventually stumbled upon is that the Sigma can easily get dislodged from the hotshoe even if you securely lock the ring. If you also like taking horizontal and vertical shots alternately that will soon happen, hence the over-exposed shots.
The indicator that I make a habit of always checking is the lens zoom indicator on the flash. If it's always stuck at 28 no matter how I zoom/un-zoom my 18-50 lens that's my key to re-seat the flash. Then it's back to lighting good images again.
